CHOOSE A REINFORCED CONCRETE POOL
Whilst keeping up with technology, we are very
reluctant to depart from methods of construction that have proved to be successful
over many years. On all reinforced concrete pools we use the same construction
technique regardless of the size or design. The floor is constructed of solid
concrete reinforced with steel mesh. The walls are built from solid concrete blocks,
behind which concrete is poured to encapsulate the reinforcing steel mesh.
The whole of the internal surface of the pool is then rendered with a good quality
sand and cement mix to complete the basic structure. The internal finish to the pool
can then be applied to individual requirements, be it tiles, mosaics or epoxy treatment.

OR A VINYL LINER POOL During the past few years, the vinyl pool has
gained popularity. This is readily understandable because its design and
construction techniques minimise material content, thus reducing the
overall cost of the pool. There are many ways of building a vinyl liner
pool but we find that a solid concrete blockwall and a concrete floor as
backing to the PVC liner to be the most satisfactory long term
investment. |
